Africa-based IT Engineer

Editec is looking for a reliable IT Engineer that will be responsible to design and provide maintenance for computer systems and related technological equipment and tools!

The company is globally recognized as a start-up specialist for gaming operations in emerging markets.

Responsibilities  

 

 

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems, install and configure hardware and software, and troubleshoot technical problems/networking issues.
  • Ensure all technical issues and changes required are attended in a highly efficient and qualitative manner remotely.
  • Maintain network security through access controls, backups & firewalls.
  • Acquiring strong skills in troubleshooting system, network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues.
  • Validate data and perform testing to ensure that the database systems and programs meet the end user's requirements.
  • Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing application
  • Ensure timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
  • Creates required technical documentation.
  • Collaboratively works with the customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.

    About You  

     

     

  • Ability to work under pressure with multicultural background people.
  • In-depth understanding of Operating Systems, Networks, applications software and all configurations.
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL Server & DBA, and .Net
  • At least 3 - 5 years' experience as an IT Engineer
  • Proficient in English
