At Editec, we want to invest in people who are passionate about what they do. We look for unique individuals that excel in their roles of establishing and growing our business in emerging markets. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise spare parts shipments to support around 150 maintenance workshops
  • Forecast the appropriate quantity of spare parts to be sent according to logistic constraints
  • Continue to develop, plan, adjust, reinforce and oversee maintenance activities
  • Carry out regular inspections in overseas facilities
  • Allocate workload and monitor equipment inventory
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily basis activities
  • Liaise with CMMS support and development team for compliance with maintenance activities
  • Coordinate and develop training material on multiple media for maintenance staff
  • On going research on new technologies for reliability, efficiency and savings
  • Continuous development of workshops for electronic repairs
  • Provide performance feedback and suggest changes on inhouse developed equipment
  • Develop and customize best working environment according company policies
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with local authorities and best practices
  • Supervise all new talent acquisition related maintenance activities
  • Handle annual and monthly budget for the whole maintenance area

MAINTENANCE OPERATION MANAGER PROFILE

  • At least 5 years working experience as maintenance manager
  • English and French language is required. Portuguese language is a plus
  • Well organized and ability to follow and reinforce instructions
  • Troubleshooting skills and out of the box thinking
  • Conflict solver and ability to liaise with all levels of the organization
  • Electronic skill is required
  • Clear understanding on high demand corrective maintenance
  • Previous use of CMMS is a plus
  • Frequent travels abroad, even for long periods
